Organic Clothing
It is a common assumption that cotton is a ‘natural product’ and as such is produced naturally. The reality is that conventional cotton crops are sprayed 8-10 times a season. A third of a pound of chemical fertilizers and pesticides are used for every 9oz of cotton produced (the amount in an average t-shirt). Organic farmers eliminate toxic chemicals from the growing process by emphasizing natural, biological methods which have far less impact on the environment.
 For Little People Organic Cotton is good – it feels softer, because the cotton fibres are left intact and not broken down by the chemicals used in the farming and processing of conventional cotton. It smells cleaner because it is not finished with formaldehyde. It is less likely to trigger allergies through the absence of harmful chemicals and increased breathability of organic cotton.

All of these lovely products are hand-made with a fair trade approach and include educational toys and gifts.
